We Love PIESI Fun: Great Ideas to Get Physical!

PIESI stands for the acronyms of the different bodies we all have: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Sexual and Instinctive. Our physical body could literally mean our physical bodies, our energy levels, and our physical and mental health. Here are some great ideas on getting physical:

When we speak of working on our physical bodies, we could focus on building up or healing our physical bodies. Running a marathon is an example of how a person works on one’s physical capabilities and limits; physical-creative activities like gardening or working on puzzles or making models provides us with different ways to engage various parts of our physical bodies. Waking up at the same time every day (Damnit!) is a simple yet effective way of working on our physical disciplines.

Meditation is an example of how a person is working on improving mental health. Healing and Body massage work – either being massaged on or learning how to massage another – is another form of physical body work we can embark on.

Physicals could also refer to external tangibles that can be measured and are recognizable by others, such as results, achievements, awards. For example, winning an award, getting the promotion or salary increase you want.

A person who is more P-orientated uses the physical body and sense of touch to learn about the world. Hence, consciously adopting a more kinesthetic / physical approach to life can open up different perspectives for us… in a matter of seconds.
